Hub Selection

The process for choosing Orbital Hubs should itself model transparent and participatory governance. - Proposal process Institutions or consortia can propose themselves as future Orbital Hubs, outlining symbolic fit, local partners and thematic focus. - Review A small committee drawn from the Space Law Committee, Substrate members and regional representatives evaluates proposals against agreed criteria. - Confirmation Hubs are confirmed enough in advance to allow fellowship placements, local capacity-building and early assemblies. - Feedback and learning After each edition, a public after-action review is published on the Substrate, informing improvements in hub selection and support.
